This is worth reading although it’s quite long. Basically what he’s telling you is that this is the time of year that bees will starve, so make sure they have something to eat. The Apiarist is Dave Evans an insect professor and beekeeper at Aberdeen University. He’s involved in honeybee disease research and although very detailed, his posts are worth reading. As he’s in Aberdeen, where the weather conditions are similar to here much of what he does is highly relevant to us! Thanks to Helen Bond for sending.
